Hazardous area classification, explained
Zones, divisions, gas groups and temperature classes decide which equipment may sit in a classified area. IP and NEMA ratings answer a different question.
Split-range control
One output drives two devices.
Scheme where one controller output spans two final elements — e.g. 0–50% drives heating, 50–100% drives cooling. Standard for temperature control with both utilities.
